Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: August 20, 2026

Welcome to Charlotte Espresso Repair. By accessing our website (https://charlotteespressorepair.com) or using our commercial and residential coffee equipment diagnostic, repair, maintenance, or installation services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before scheduling service with our team.

1. Scope of Services
Charlotte Espresso Repair provides technical diagnostics, preventative maintenance, emergency troubleshooting, parts replacement, and installation for commercial coffee systems, industrial brewers, grinders, and residential espresso setups within Charlotte, NC, and surrounding service regions. We reserve the right to refuse service to any machine that is deemed beyond safe repair parameters or for which factory-certified components are completely unavailable.

2. Scheduling, Diagnostics, and Estimates
All service requests made via our website, email, or telephone are subject to technician availability. Initial diagnostic evaluations require a standard diagnostic fee, which covers the technician’s time, travel, and specialized tools to isolate hydraulic, electrical, or mechanical issues. Following a diagnostic check, we will provide a comprehensive estimate for the required parts and additional labor. Work will not begin until the client provides explicit authorization.

3. 30-Day Parts and Labor Guarantee
We stand behind the quality of our craftsmanship. Charlotte Espresso Repair offers a 30-day warranty on all parts and labor associated strictly with the specific repair performed. If the exact same issue recurs within 30 days of service due to a defective part or faulty installation, we will remedy the issue at no additional cost to you. This guarantee explicitly excludes secondary, unrelated component failures, routine wear-and-tear items, and failures resulting from poor water quality or user negligence.

4. Client Responsibilities & Water Quality
For on-site residential or commercial service, the client must ensure a safe working environment and provide clear, unobstructed access to the equipment. Because poor water filtration is the leading cause of scale build-up and premature failure in expensive espresso machinery, clients are responsible for maintaining industry-standard water filtration profiles. We are not liable for premature component degradation resulting from a client’s choice to run unfiltered or improperly treated water through their machinery.

5. Payment Terms & Equipment Abandonment
Payment is due immediately upon the completion of repair services unless commercial net-terms have been established and approved in writing beforehand. We accept major credit cards, electronic payments, and business checks. For machines dropped off or collected for off-site workshop repairs, equipment must be picked up or scheduled for return delivery within thirty days of completion notification. Equipment left unclaimed after 60 days from the initial completion notice may be considered abandoned and sold to recover the cost of outstanding parts and labor.

6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Charlotte Espresso Repair shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages—including, but not limited to, lost cafe revenue, operational disruptions, missed business opportunities, or spoiled inventory—arising out of espresso machinery downtime, scheduling delays, or service execution. Our maximum aggregate liability shall never exceed the total amount paid by the client for the specific service call in question.

7. Intellectual Property
All original content, text, layout designs, branding materials, and images present on our website are the exclusive intellectual property of Charlotte Espresso Repair. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any materials from our web pages without explicit written authorization from us.

8. Governing Law
These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you services shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

9. Changes to Terms of Service
We reserve the right to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check our website periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to our website or services following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those updates.

10. Contact Information
